with Patricia White

February 4 - 11, 2008

7 days of Yoga at Panacea de la Montana, a secluded mountain retreat centre overlooking the Pacific coast of Tamarindo, Costa Rica.

Yoga classes will take place in an open-air palapa with hardwood floor. Accommodations are in individual cabins tucked into the mountainside. Each cabin has 2 beds and ensuite bathroom with shower as well as a covered verandah with a hammock.

Three buffet style meals are prepared by the resident chef each day and served in the dining room adjacent to the pool. Food will be mostly vegetarian with the option of fresh caught fish for several meals. Food sensitivities can be accommodated with advance notice.

Each participant receives a free reflexology session and a natural facial. There will be free time each day to enjoy a swim in the infinity pool, walk on mountain paths, or relax on your own. We will have the option of taking one day for an excursion to enjoy the natural wonders of Costa Rica for a small additional charge.

Patricia White is an exceptional Hatha Yoga teacher with over 20 years experience. She has studied extensively with Esther Myers and with Vanda Scaravelli’s senior student, Diane Long. Since joining the YogaSpace faculty, she has co-taught asana practice in the teacher training program. Through skilful hands-on she guides students into a full expression of the poses.

Everything about this trip was perfect. Our little group set off for one beautiful week in Costa Rica tired, a bit run-down, but very excited. We came back a week later refreshed, grounded and knit together. Costa Rica treated us well and so did the people at Panacea de la Montana. But more than anything or anyone we have our teacher Patricia to thank for an unforgettable experience. I loved every second of this trip, on and off the mat. Thanks!
